What is 120s?
120s is the Newfoundland ante-and-pot version of Auction Forty-Fives, a trick-taking card game where players bid for the points in each deal and the first bidder to make their bid and reach 120 wins. ScoreKeep is built around its rules.
Does ScoreKeep cost anything?
No. ScoreKeep is currently free.
Who can use ScoreKeep?
Anyone 13 or older can create an account. A ScoreKeep admin approves new accounts before they can be used; until then the app shows “Waiting for approval” and checks again on its own.
Do I need to download an app?
No. ScoreKeep runs in the browser on iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets and computers. You can add it to your home screen so it opens full screen like any other app.
Can several phones score the same game?
Yes. Every device signed in to ScoreKeep sees the same game, and scores update live on all of them.
Does everyone at the table need an account?
No. Players are names on the scoresheet. Only the people who use the app to keep score need an account.
Does ScoreKeep handle money?
No. ScoreKeep records the antes, the pot and who has paid, so the table can keep track of what it agreed to. It never moves money, and it is up to you to make sure your game is legal where you play.
Can we use our own house rules?
An admin can change the ante and penalty amounts and hide the money totals. The 120s scoring rules are listed on How it works; if your table plays differently, tell us through the contact form.
What notifications does ScoreKeep send?
Only account ones, and only if you turn them on: that your account was approved and, for admins, that someone is waiting for approval. They never show scores, money or names, and you can set quiet hours.
What does ScoreKeep do with my information?
It uses your account and game data to run ScoreKeep, and nothing else: no ads, no tracking cookies, no analytics, and it is never sold. This website has no cookies or analytics either. The Privacy Policy has the details.
How do I delete my account?
In ScoreKeep, open the menu, choose Account, then Delete account. If you can’t sign in, the Delete your account page explains how to ask us.
